June 2022
This time of year is all about milestones. Closing out some and starting new ones. It’s also about cleanup, reorganization and laying a new foundation for the upcoming school year. Let’s explore reports to help you with these tasks.
The school year closeout is a great time to prepare for the next program term for your returning children. Report 2030 – PNPT – Rollover is a valuable tracking tool. You can see what participants are returning next year to ensure they complete the required agency paperwork. This same report can be run for participants transitioning out of the program and used to verify the needed exit documentation.
A good PIR housekeeping report is 2013 – Participant Diagnostics (Grid). Use this report to clean up many PIR questions before submitting the PIR. To make this an easier task at the end of the school year have your family advocate run it monthly or frequently during the year. Errors or missing information can be found then entered or corrected. Another report for finding end of enrollment year missing or incorrect PIR data is Report 9711 – Children Not Counted for C.7.
Report 3060 – Expired Health Events can be used as part of your strategy to review health events expiring over the summer. Setup up reminders for the parents to have those completed before their child returns the next year.
We mentioned laying a new foundation and what better way than with Report 2031 – Recruitment – Age Eligible Children? Evaluate the data to see if there are siblings now age-eligible for the program with incomplete applications. This follow-through guarantees your service to the family as well as the potential individual participant.
