Many agencies spent the last few months getting to know the families currently enrolled in their programs. Families and staff completed assessments and established partnership agreements. Now, it’s time to review the data and use that information to build on strengths and reduce weaknesses.
Agencies can document goals and monitor the completion status using Family Services Events and track the ongoing efforts to accomplish goals using Actions. Once a goal is complete, update the Event by adding the outcome. Run Report 4003 – Management Report – Family Services Action Status to monitor the number of goals and the progress being made. Ideally, families are making progress, but if goals are stagnant, review details on Report 4110 – Family Service History and revise strategies as needed.
Is your program using Family Outcomes Assessment? If so, use Report 4240 – Family Outcomes – Analysis to review overall statistics for families and measure progress. Review the report just after the first assessment period. This report displays the average score for families for each of the indicators on the assessment. This can be used to determine what types of events and services to offer families throughout the year.
